...See more Hi, the reason why Im here is because Im dating someone with depression and I would really like some advice. Weve been dating for a couple of months. He hasnt opened up about the depression but I found out that a couple of years ago he suffered from depression and became suicidal, had councelling, etc. We went from speaking every day, having great dates to one day he withdrew completely, out of no where without any indication or explanation. Literally went from texting all day to ignoring my reply txt and calls. A week later after no contact he sent me a text saying 'I'm not feeling good and having issues. I tried to make contact again but it was ignored. Last week I received a second message to say he is still not feeling well and needs to rest up and promised he would get back to me but another week has gone and no contact. I am aware he has some other physical health issues too but I believe he is not feeling well because of his depression and want to support him but Im struggling with the silence on his part. Has anyone experienced this before? How I can support him? Is the above expected behaviour of someone suffering from depression. Any advice would be much appreciated. I just want him to know that I am here for him and will never judge him.
