Hello! I'm a young adult in university with clinical depression. I have trouble opening up to people so I am very reserved most of the time but for anyone who talks to me; thank you. It's been a rough time.

...See more I'm a student back home (against my will). I've been spending the past 2 months with my abusive mother and no access to the medication I used when I was in university in the UK. The past few weeks have been a vicious cycle of coping with suicidal thoughts and drinking to cope. I'm at my wit's end waiting for a visa and I can't afford a therapist or go to a counselor while I live with my parents. So I'm turning here for some advice. How would you pass time and stay sane when the only thing holding you together is the vague hope of escape?
