...See more I’m constantly exhausted and crashing, I’ve been basically falling apart and passing out as soon as I get home from work lately. I struggle to sleep at night and when I do it’s just awful nightmares and waking up with panic attacks. Usually when I wake up from a nap or first thing in the morning I wake up to hallucinations that sounds like I have a horror movie on full blast in my ears. That mixed with the intense panic attacks is usually how I start my day before going to work. I work in mental health, and I’ve been told I’m pretty good at what I do and I’ve and made a significant positive impact on people’s lives so there’s that. The constant anxiety and relentless panic attacks mixed with schizoaffective disorder means that hallucinations are usually pretty bad. I’m just trying to get through each day but I’m burnt out and I just started a new job at 40hrs a week so I don’t want to take any days off, but I’m in a pretty dark place and don’t know what to do. My wife has been so supportive but I think they’re burnt out and done with my mental health struggles, they’ve pretty much told me that bluntly. They still try their best to be there for me but I understand they’re burnt out, my mental health has been garbage for as long as I can remember, and there’s nobody else I can talk to about it, not that it would make much of a difference at this point. I’m hoping this thread will help a bit but it’s mostly a Hail Mary if I’m being honest.
