Constantly anxious and overwhelmed.

...See more My baby brother passed away recently. He's not a baby, but he is younger than me. Since his passing was so sudden, I was overwhelmed with thoughts and memories of him. The unfortunate event that I have to live with for the rest of my life is that I haven't seen him in over 2.5 years because I live abroad... I flew home for the first time in 2 years to attend his funeral. Seeing him and having to lay him to rest as my first and final goodbye was so hard. I was jetlagged, grieving and heartbroken. My ex and I broke up only a week right before and I was already having a hard time getting over him. This year has been terrible so far. Since I flew back home, I have constantly been crying and filled with anxiety. I would feel overwhelmed at any given moment and I would constantly wake up from my sleep or naps with a racing heart and anxious feelings. I hate it so much. Even if I am out with friends or playing with my dog, I randomly get anxious or overwhelmed. How do people deal with being overwhelmed? I tried breathing techniques and it doesn't help at all. I tried to distract myself, but that just made me feel more overwhelmed to get things done...
