...See more So I'm a 16 year old male. I'm gay and I feel like I need to come out. I feel very ready and even have gotten up the courage to try then I start to and have one of those "Can I tell you something important?" (I'm gay) Other person "Yes?" Me (I'm gay) "Oh never mind. I forgot." Kind of moments. (That may look silly but that's how it happens.) I am constantly anxious and depressed about it and I would really like to be out but I always end up taking myself out of it. I have a safety net and am in a safe place to come out. That is honestly part of the depression. I start thinking "Look how many people can't come out. Look how many people would be beaten or kicked out, just for coming out. You can! Why don't you just do it already!" I feel like I'm being stupid or silly but I just can't seem to go through with it. So anyways, I was just wondering if anyone can relate or if maybe I am just crazy? Sorry for the rambling.

Service Dog Questions

...See more I have been seriously considering getting a service dog as of late and I was wondering if anyone could try and answer a few questions. I have hEDS which essentially makes all the collagen in my body super weak, this causes all kinds of problems. The dog would be primarily for bracing me when getting up or walking as I have very weak joints that like to dislocate, helping me get things from the ground, and alerting me if my blood pressure plummets or skyrockets. I know that a big factor in getting a service dog is price, which I have considered. I also know to expect people rudely coming up and petting the dog without asking and other such occurrences as well. My questions are: What else should I expect while trying to get the dog? What else should I expect while out with the dog? What should I expect at home? In general, is there anything that I should look out for? Are there any tips or peices of information that I should know before getting the dog? Thank you in advance for even taking the time to read this and thank you for any and all answers or information you can give.
