...See more It's been 8 months ago since I was in a relationship. I thought that since it's been a while and I feel better enough that I should start looking to make friends again and try dating. But it's difficult. After the relationship ended I took up being sober and clean, but I also deal with some trauma associated with being around people that are drunk, and so I have difficulty being at bars/night clubs. I'm trying online dating, but that's difficult as well since I get anxiety and depression when I try to reach out and talk to people I find attractive. Anyways, I might be able to go see someone tomorrow to sit down for brunch. They're pretty busy though and haven't responded to texts so I'm losing hope as the time ticks closer to the meetup. Fingers crossed.
