...See more I'm age 31. Any advise is welcomed. Please comment. I am confident in making friends, but I'm NOT confident in keeping them. I've never had long term friendships with others. The closest thing to having a buddy was with somebody I hung out with for two summers back to back in high school. Most of my friendships only last about 2-4 months. I've never had a close friend who would stand up for me when times were tough.  I haven't had a strong-friendship in 13 years. I understand a friendship is 50% me and 50% them. Am I a bad friend or am I bad at picking friends?
