...See more tw: mention of death, suicide i'm not sure where to post this, but how do you deal with losing your best friend? he was someone i talked to every day (for six years), and now he's gone due to suicide. i'm the only person he left a letter to, not even his family, just me, so i feel this heavy burden to try and make them understand him. but life has been busy, and i feel too tired to explain myself to them. it was especially draining to be the one who had to deliver the news of his death to his family, and the one who announced his funeral to our old classmates. he was so young. we both are. i'm just 17. is it really common to lose someone at this age? i'm feeling neutral right now, just lost on what to do. and in case anyone's wondering: no, i'm not self-harming and i never will. i have a lot of people supporting me, a lot of friends who care. but for some reason, i don't want to talk to any of them. it's not that i don't trust them. it's just... it doesn't feel the same anymore. they aren't the person i'm looking for. which is my friend. i know i'll be fine in the future. a lot of people say i'm resilient and strong for my age. but right now, i just feel bad that i'm not talking or being as bubbly with the people i care about. i just don't know how to act. is it bad that I still feel like I'll receive a message from him? thank you for taking the time to read this, I apologize if I have posted this in the wrong category.
