My pain doesn’t matter to him

...See more My partner and I have been having a lot of rocky times. We got in a fight last night and when we tried to talk again today it came back to the usual of him telling me “well I don’t see how this is going to work, what do you want to do?” Which always has me feeling like he says that because he’s done but he wants me to say it. I got emotionally overwhelmed at one point and let him know I was not having a good day (which I have literally been working so hard to consciously do since he mentioned it in therapy that it would help him) and he left with our 3 month old son to go have a fun Juneteenth because he felt I didn’t make plans. Now I’m hurt that he just spent 4 hrs in a park in the grass smiling laughing with his friends and our child while I’ve been at home hurting, crying curled up and suffering and he knows it. He doesn’t care. My pain means nothing. When he came home he just didn’t say anything to me. Guess he had a good time and does t want me to bother it.
