...See more My ex and I broke up about a year ago. I didn’t get a closure then and now I met someone who wants to start a relationship, but I still have a feeling for my ex. He recently wished my birthday after 7- month no contact. I don’t know if I should dive into a new relationship without a closure. My ex was going through skin cancer and became distant. When I asked him for a closure, he didn’t provide. I’ve been confused the past 1 year. I worked so hard on forgetting about him, but I still care for him. I know no response received from him a year ago was probably a sign of closure, but his text started making me insecure again. It was probably out of courtesy. He said nothing more than happy birthday. He broke up with me a couple of years ago, but I gave him a second chance. I feel I’ve been stuck and can’t move forward the past 6 years.
