going to fail certification and get negative review

...See more i am a software developer. this is my first IT job out of college. i graduated about 2 years ago. i have been in this job for just over a year. i have been trying to study for an aws certification exam because my boss is expecting me to get certified asap and i have had to push it out two times because i wasn’t ready. i had to tell my team and it was embarrassing. now i can’t reschedule again and it is this thursday. i am still not ready. i haven’t even completed half of the course i am using to study. i know i will fail and i cannot bear the idea of telling my boss and my team. i have gone through cycles of procrastinating on tasks out of fear of failure so my team and boss are already unhappy with my performance. the annual review is coming up and depends on me getting certified and doing some other tasks i haven’t gotten to. i am so tired, sad, and scared. i don’t understand why i am so stupid. not sure how to process all this bad stuff that i know will happen. also i actually really look up to my teammates and manager, so that makes it worse. and my manager is pretty intimidating and can be very critical, which is good in some ways but it makes me extremely anxious. i am new to this forum. i read the guidelines. please let me know if i need to change or remove this post.
