...See more hi there, i'm quite new here. i was wondering if anyone else was feeling the same way as me. so basically, I'm the therapist friend. People vent to me, I help them with their problems. It's never the other way around and I'm also too independent for my own good. When people ask me if I'm fine, I don't know, it feels like my mind malfunctions for a moment. I immediately seem to forget my problems exist, I don't know what happens, I think I push them down or something. And when they ask me to tell them what's wrong, I can't come up with anything, my mind just goes blank. And in that moment, I think "what are they talking about, i'm obviously okay. my problems aren't that big of a deal, they aren't affecting me that much." But then later on, probably at night or something, I remember everything and i go like oh yeah that happened to me. I also have a tendency to immediately brush off any concern with humor or something. I was telling some mental health stuff of mine to my best friend and I was cracking jokes and laughing. And she was looking at me that sort of way lmao. I crack such good jokes and no one laughs, it's such a waste /lh
