Change my mind too much

...See more I have changed my mind over dreams and things I wanted to do so many times. I know people who have had one dream since childhood and never let it go. I don't feel like I can tell people about these things that I want to try anymore because I have lost my validity due to changing my mind so much. Why am I like this? Why can't I just figure out what I am meant to do and do it?

...See more I was so proud of myself for completion of my first year of college. I did well. I got good grades and even letters of recommendation from 2 different teachers. The day I came home to spread the good news a family member was having a fit because I threw away glass in the trash instead of putting it in the recycling bin. That snowballed into a week of her basically treating me like I did something horrible. Not speaking to me etc. She said me I made her life miserable and other hurtful things. I know I didn't do anything but it sort of deflated my sails and I have not been able to get my happiness back. I am stuck with her until fall when I go back to school. How do I get my spirits back up?
