Relationship Stress / by azureOcean3921

...See more I've been struggling in my ldr relationship. We met online and really hit it off, after three months of a lot of back and forth we started dating. First month was fun, I got a lot of attention and I felt like I was a big part of his life. We live very far apart and due to covid it's just too pricey to visit each other. I did say qe could meet during summer time, but seeing as traveling is still a hassle, we might have to postpone that. He started getting more and more distant, saying he's more busy than before and now we send some texts here and there and talk once a week. I've been trying to communicate that I want to talk more, but talking in I statement and how I feel doesn't seem to get my point across. He'll say I need to be more realistic and that he'll try to talk more. So he did text a little more than before, but I still feel like he's put me on the back burner. He says he loves me very much and that he just isn't good with time management and planning. On which I call bullshit, never said that to him like that, but come on you make time to talk to people you like. I just feel like he isn't interested as much even though he does say he loves me and he tries to put more effort in. I still feel like the kind of attention I need isn't something he can give me right now. But do I wait it out in the hope that he gets less busy and hopefully will be able to talk more or are my hopes too high or should I just give up on this relationship and say it just isn't the best timing and messes me up too much. I don't even know anymore.
