...See more first of all id like to point out that not all rape survivors obstain from sex due to trauma. a lot of people become OVERLY sexual due to the trauma. and i am one of those people. my rapist made me believe i was a whore for something i could not control, so i started to act like one. fast forward to present. i started dating a boy last night. hes unbelievably sweet and i like him a lot. but i cant even enjoy the moment because i have it stuck in my head that its not going to work. just like all of my past relationships, my trauma is going to ruin it. ive been used in all of my past relationships because those are the people i attract i guess. but this boy is different. but still, im terrified that this is going to end just like every other relationship: a reminder that i am nothing more than my past.
