Too dependent and its causing problems

...See more My boyfriend left for a school trip to a different country for a month about a week ago and I'm having a really hard time with it because he left me while I was feeling insecure about the relationship. About 3 months before the trip he began to really distance himself from me and told me he only saw our relationship as a highschool thing. We have been together for almost 2 years so I was hurt by this. He doesn't make efforts to talk to me or hang out with me anymore. One day he had asked me to hang out with him on Wednesday and when it came around time to hang out he told me he was too tired to see me and that he just wanted to play video games and didn't want to have an argument about it with me. He told me he wants me to be more independent like I was at the beginning of our relationship because I have become very dependent on him. With him being gone I feel like I can't function. I feel like hes priming me for breaking up and is losing interest in me fast because I'm not who I used to be. I'm not confident and independent like I was at the beginning of our relationship and now he is pushing me away. What do I do??
