...See more I've been talking to someone only online for half a year and he is sometimes mentioning how he wants to die, even mentioned doing that next year and I have told him it'd be better to consult a doctor as one would for any physical illness, maybe have a check up. However, he never answers to the texts when I recommend him something. He just says something unrelated or ignores them. I'm really scared he'll go on with the plan in the end. He also never says what's wrong. I asked if courses stress him or something else but no answer and I don't know how to handle the situation. What's more, he considers me basically his gf, which was a very big mistake from my part, even though I enjoy being with him, I know it cannot work out as I have a bunch of my own problems and we are from different continents so such a relationship would require a lot of money and one of us leaving their regular life to move. That being said, we aren't that close and we almost never call. I'd like to help him without getting closer to him, as I will have to cut contact with him in the end. But I'm also afraid me cutting contact will make his issues worse. I'd like him to seek help before I break up with him. Any advice would be appreciated.
