...See more Is it normal to suffer from depression and CPTSD as an adult from suffering from physical and sexual abuse as a child? It seems the older I get the more what happened to me in my past haunts me. I am not functioning well—don’t want to get out of bed…it’s been 2 days since I’ve showered because ever since this depression took hold I hate showering. I don’t know how to climb out of this depression, and I wonder if I am just a weak person?
