I am a senior at the University at Albany, State University of New York majoring in communications with a minor in business. As a teenager I experienced bullying and issues within my family life that caused me anxiety and depression. I've always been sympathetic and have a desire to help others. After going to therapy, I discovered skills to help me cope and I want to advise others on how to use the same skills or ones that are helpful for them. Sometimes people just need a listening ear, which I am capable of doing.
