...See more I feel like I'm losing my grip on reality. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it's as if everything is a dream that I can't wake up from. I quit my job of 4 years about a month ago because of the induced anxiety it was giving me. I have anxiety disorder and severe depression according to my psychiatrist. I saw a counselor but I stopped seeing them because I didn't feel like a real person with real problems to them. I just felt like a project and it made me even more unhappy. I'm taking synthroid for hypothyroidism and I found out that I have it because I kept having skipped heart beats. Every time I'm feeling most anxious my heart skips. Then it leads to depression and my medicines never work for long. I don't know what else to do.

Halloween Guilt

...See more Happy Halloween everyone! So first off, as much as I love Halloween, I don't feel up and active about going trick or treating with my niece's and her parents like I've done every year. Because I missed my medications yesterday due to not being home and I didn't bring them, I've been in a very touchy and agitated mood today, which I know I'm going to regret later. I went to a small Halloween party at my boyfriend's house last Saturday and my mother told me "you'd go to your boyfriend's Halloween party, but you won't go trick or treating with your niece's?" She at least said that that's what my sister would say. I'm tired of always feeling guilty for saying "no." I'm always put on a guilt trip. I've been with my boyfriend for 6 years and shouldn't have to feel guilty about going to his party and missing Halloween. I feel so down today and would just like to miss one year without feeling bad about it.
