Boyfriend + my family = ANXIETY
Relationship Stress / by celery808

...See more My boyfriend of 8 years now has so many problems with my immediate family. My family has no problems with him and the problems he mentions to me, I never see. I can never feel comfortable or worry less when my boyfriend is around my family. I’m constantly worried about what everyone else does, says, or looks like. I mentioned how I feel to my boyfriend, but nothing’s changed. When he brings up these issues, it’s never done in a polite way. It’s usually aggressive or angry. I don’t know how to go about this and I don’t know who to talk to for help. Any advice?
