Is this common or normal?

...See more Hi everyone. I’ll describe something I went through⬇️ and if you know anything about it or went through a similar situation, please tell me. So I’ve been struggling with mental illness since a young age, and the symptoms have gotten more severe over the years. Especially, in the last four years. I have been diagnosed with depression, OCD, GAD, BPD, Personality Disorder cluster (b), and bipolar (I don’t agree with most of them) and sought treatment like therapy sessions and different medication, but none was helpful. Anyway, approximately 6 months ago I had a sudden change in my mental symptoms and problems ( I wasn’t under any medication or going to therapy). By that, I mean out of nowhere and in the blink of an eye everything in me had changed. Almost all of my symptoms have gone except OCD and anxiety, but they also have decreased and improved so much. It’s like I am a different person. I was struggling with self-esteem, but now I value myself so much that some people perceive me as cocky and narcissistic. My depression and mood swings that were very severe and led me to try to unalive myself multiple times. They became nonexistent. In addition, nothing can negatively affect me in an emotional way, as if I am detached from feeling any emotion from anything. To add on, this change has improved the quality of my life, and it’s been very positive. On the other hand, some problems I had ln paying attention, concentration, forgetfulness, and communication skills have increased greatly. For instance, I used to forget stuff and a lot of things all the time, but now it reached the point where I started forgetting words and names, causing me problems with language and talking. Does this sudden change happen to people where their symptoms or problems suddenly disappear? Is there an explanation for it?
