...See more How do you stop drinking when you don’t want to do it for yourself? My only motivation to quit is I hate the weight gain rhat comes with it. I don’t care about my health aside from looking good and I don’t like myself. I was sober after getting dumped for a month and a half but recently relapsed hard and have found myself drinking six nights a week. I want to do moderation and cut back but the only time I don’t feel completely numb is when I’m drunk. My depression has been terrible (not just cause of the breakup there’s lots of things in my life that have been piling up but the breakup was the straw that broke the camels back) and I’m not sure how to fix something like this.
