Let go? or Continue Fighting
Relationship Stress / by courageousClementine4874

...See more I’m struggling with a relationship that has left me feeling confused, hurt, and emotionally exhausted. Over the past several months, there have been trust issues, communication problems, and situations that have made me question where I stand in the relationship. Every time I think we’re moving forward, something happens that makes me feel uncertain again. I care deeply about this person, which makes it difficult to let go, but I’m also realizing that constantly questioning someone’s honesty and commitment is taking a toll on my mental health. Part of me wants to keep fighting for the relationship, while another part of me wonders if I’m holding on to something that is no longer healthy for me. Right now I’m trying to focus on myself, my healing, and understanding what I truly deserve in a relationship. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has been through something similar. How did you know when it was time to keep working on a relationship versus when it was time to walk away? Thank you for listening.

Possible Breakout
Relationship Stress / by courageousClementine4874

...See more Today I am feeling extremely anxious and scared about the future of my relationship with my boyfriend. I keep thinking that the relationship is going to end because I cannot give him the outcome he wants. He believes I spied on him and placed the AirTag in his car. I do not believe that is true, and I cannot bring myself to admit to something I don't believe I did. I am trying to understand the difference between taking accountability and taking responsibility for things that are not true. I can acknowledge that I struggled with trust, that I handled things poorly at times, that I showed up uninvited, and that I have communication issues I need to work on. I am actively seeking help through counseling, group sessions, journaling, and self-reflection. However, I do not know how to take accountability for something I genuinely do not believe I did. What hurts the most is that I feel like I have been carrying my own pain silently for a long time. was afraid that bringing up my concerns would immediately become another conversation about my trust issues, boundaries, or the AirTag. I wanted my relationship. I wanted my boyfriend. I loved him and did not want to create more conflict. Today I realize how much pain I have been holding inside. Part of me wonders whether staying silent protected the relationship or simply caused me to suppress my own feelings. I am scared because I still love him very much. I miss him. I want us. At the same time, I feel overwhelmed because I do not know if the relationship can survive when we seem to disagree on such a fundamental issue. I worry that no matter how much work I do, it will never be enough unless I admit to something I believe is false. My goal is not to prove that I am right. My goal is to understand myself better, learn healthier ways to communicate, build trust in my own judgment, and figure out whether a healthy relationship can exist when both people have been hurt and both people feel misunderstood
