Can Staying Active Help Keep Our Muscles Younger?

...See more I came across an interesting piece of research about exercise and healthy aging. A recent study looked at older adults who continued strength training and found that some of the gene activity linked with muscle aging was much less noticeable in those who stayed active. I thought this was interesting because we often think of exercise mainly in terms of getting stronger or losing weight, but staying active may also be important for maintaining healthy muscle as we get older. The research doesn't prove that exercise alone caused the difference, but it is another good reminder that regular movement and strength training can be valuable parts of healthy aging. I found the research explained in a pretty easy-to-follow way here: https://longevity.io/digest/2026-07-10 What kinds of exercise or movement have helped you stay active as you've gotten older?
