My coworker said to me the other day "thank you for letting me vent" and I replied "no problem!" It was at that time I realized that I have always liked listening to people vent or express themselves in honest, raw ways. I have been there so many times when I just wanted to vent and it seemed like no one cared so when I found someone who listened without judgment it made all the difference. So I am here to pay it forward for all the times someone listened to me and helped me through a crisis just by letting me be myself, because I know first hand how comforting a little validation can feel.
