...See more I'm a man in my twenties, and not long ago, something happened that completely shook me. After having two cups of coffee and an energy drink, my heart suddenly started racing — up to 145 bpm. I had trouble breathing, felt dizzy, my chest tightened, and I genuinely thought something was seriously wrong. I ended up in the ER, but all tests came back normal. Since then, I haven’t been the same. I haven't had another major episode, but I’m stuck in a weird state: Chest pressure Constant tiredness Numb emotions And a deep fear that it might happen again It feels like I'm just existing, not really living. There's a fog over my thoughts. I feel disconnected — from myself, from life. I finished school recently, but I still feel lost. I don’t know what to do next. My family seems disappointed because I didn’t follow the same path as my siblings. That adds even more pressure. Lately, I’ve also been getting thoughts that feel disturbing — not because I believe in them or want them, but because my brain latches onto them. If I hear something intense or emotional, my mind replays it. I start obsessing, even though deep down I know those thoughts don’t reflect who I am. But they scare me anyway. It’s draining. I try to keep going, but it’s hard. All I want is to feel normal again. To wake up without fear. To feel alive again. And to live calmly, without this invisible battle inside me.
