How to introduce polyamory to my relationship
Relationship Stress / by discreetSpring5627

...See more I have been dating my boyfriend for 7 years. I love him, and don't want to lose him, but I met another man who became very important to me and we feel madly in love with each other. Now, I don't want to lose either of them. That's why I am considering a poly relationship. The new man agreed. I still haven't asked my boyfriend yet, because I'm scared I'll shock him.  Is there anybody out there who lives in a poly relationship? Do you have any tips how to start the topic with my boyfriend? I'm also interested in your stories - how did you meet the third one, how are you coping with common problems (sharing time, jealousy, etc.) Thank you for reading this!

Feeling guilty when I want to be alone

...See more Hi, I hope I am not the only one with this problem.. My boyfriend wants to spend every day with me. We love each other. But i need to have "me time" and spend time alone. We don't live together but he comes here often and sleeps here . I told him i need more space and i need to be alone sometimes. He didn't understand and i feel guilty because he doesn't like the fact that sometimes i refuse to see him.  He says that he is in love and it should be normal to see the person you love every day. It's strange for him that i for example want to do my stuff , studying, cleaning etc. ALONE.. I feel so guilty because he is a great guy and many women would like to have men who want to spend time together.  I am grateful for his desire to be with me. But also i feel a bit pushed and guilty when he feels bad because we didn't see each other because of me. In general, i tend to agree with people to please them, otherwise i feel guilty that i caused pain to someone else. Is there anybody who can relate to that?  I feel like a bad person right now and that's why I want to understand if this is normal.. Thanks for reading this!
