...See more The past 6 months of my 21 years with my husband have been hell. His father was an alcoholic, and he has been drinking since he was a teenager. COVID has exasperated so much. Has it has done with many. My husband isn’t a happy drunk. He is verbally abusive. He hasn’t ever been violent with me but he has broken things on our home. I am currently in therapy and my therapist is aware. I just don’t know if I can be married to him much more. Loving someone and sacrificing your life are two different things. I am just hurting.

...See more My husband is an alcoholic. We have been together for 21 years. He is not a “happy drunk” he is angry and verbally abusive. He has always been a drinker but COVID has exasperated everything. The past 6 months have been hell. He knows he has a problem. I just don’t know if I can stay with him. I love him. He is part of me. He has been since the day we met. I am in therapy and my therapist knows. I am 53. Don’t know if I can or should stay anymore.
