What to do if you know a friend is lying to you?

...See more I have a long distance friend and I recently told her that I feel like our communication hasn't been the greatest lately. We agreed to talk on the phone once a week at a set time and I feel good about it. But we were supposed to have our first talk on the phone today, but she canceled and gave me some excuse about schoolwork. The excuse just didn't feel right to me so I checked her location and she is at her boyfriend's apartment. I'm not sure what to do because I know she's lying so should I tell her or should I let it slide? This is actually really hurtful and I just want to end the friendship at this point.

Need advice for dealing with a long distance friend

...See more I recently moved to a different state for graduate school and my best friend from undergraduate moved away as well to go to graduate school. We are separated by 5 hours and I feel like she is forgetting about me. We talked every single day in undergraduate whether in person or on social media. I told her every little thing about my day and she told me the same. Now that we moved away from each other, she doesn't tell me things anymore. She is talking to a guy and she hasn't even told me his name or anything about him. When I text her to check in she tells me one thing that she's already told me before and her replies aren't long. If she initiates the conversation (never to ask me how I am, she just sends a snapchat memory) and I respond then she won't respond back. The conversation is just over. I find myself wanting to tell her things all day long but lately I've been holding back because I feel like she doesn't even care. Normally, I would just emotionally wall myself off and isolate from her, but I feel like she's been a good friend in the past and we are so attached it'd be really hard to cut her out of my life. I'm scared to tell her how I feel because I don't want her to see me as clingy or needy. Should I tell her and if so how? I never see her in person because of distance and I can't wait until there's an opportunity to see her. I've voiced my concerns many times before we moved that I'm worried our friendship won't last (mainly because I've been known to wall myself off when things like this happen) but she assured me every time that we will make it. I feel really distressed about this entire situation.
