...See more Hi there, I'm a bit older than many of the threads that I've read. Although I was a super extrovert when I was younger, many things have changed in my life and currently I'm living in a country with my husband where I have no friends and sadly haven't grasped the language. It's been really tough trying to put myself out there, since I get the regular polite chats but no one ends up wanting to meet up with me afterwards. Everyone is at that age where they have their own circle of friends and they seem more closed off to expats. It's so exhausting now that I don't even bother making an effort, so I spend all of my time at home after work. Any one else feeling like this?
