Bio
Hello! My name is Kim and I'm 24 years old. I would love to be able to lend an open ear to anyone experiencing mental health difficulties at the moment as I have personal experiences with depression, self-harm, suicide, and anxiety problems. I have overcome a lot in recent years thanks to all the people that were there to listen to me and I want nothing more than to be there for those in need, too. I have been studying Psychology for over 4 years now and received my Master's degree in October 2013, and hope to become a Clinical Psychologist in the future.

My interests outside of all this include reading, baking, playing the Viola, all things Disney and watching Once Upon a Time, and occasional gaming (mostly the Wii and PS3).

...See more Here in the UK it is Mental Health Awareness Week! I don't know if this is universal, but I do know that many charities, the BPS, universities, health sectors, etc., are promoting it a lot via twitter. So I've attached the 7 cups of tea hashtag to my tweets to spread the word of our community and help those that may come across my tweets. The theme for the week is Anxiety, so hopefully this will raise awareness of the varying degrees of anxiety disorders that are out there and lessen the stigma a little!
