I feel like I can’t stop messing up when talking to my mom

...See more Sometimes I will be talking with my mom and I will say something kind of stupid, (the most recent one was telling my mom to be careful while she drove to Starbucks because the weather report mentioned that there may be a snowstorm and I didn’t know when it was reported to be) and her looking at me like I had no idea what I was talking about and then ending the conversation then with me realizing how ridiculous it sounded and trying to back track to make up for it. Then she gets frustrated with me and tells me how I keep going on and on or that I keep hemming and hawing before leaving. I know it’s my fault that I keep doing that but I don’t know how to fix it
