...See more It was last Tuesday when I found that out and I'm still at a bit of disbelief as my mom has always been so healthy , active and fit with a great lifestyle always full of energy and never got sick so then she gets sick with this. They say it's not curable but still doing chemo and radiation to slow the spread but I keep on wondering how long she has as I prayed for miracles for my two pets which never happened so those pets passed away and so I hope for a miracle for my mom but I'm doubting it to wind up facing the harsh reality the lady who I thought was going to live almost to 100 yrs of age may not even make it to 72 as she's 70 now and I am hoping she be around for my son graduation from high school in a year from now . I also been having so much regrets of not spending much as time with her as I could have and venting about her when I got overly sensitive about her critical behaviors but now I may not have a mom in a year from now on earth .
Anyone here have struggles with talking as in a speech disability ?

...See more I'm looking to get some support of to find out how I can handle people like family members who don't understand my speech isn't an easy fix and I'm so tired of certain family members complaining about it because I tell them I can not get it fixed it won't be ever fixed and they like never say never . I'm tired of it as it's something I have tried to change and improve but instead they are like oh your speech is getting worse so get speech therapy so I tell them I have seen more than 25 speech therapist for more than 10 years so I'm like when will my speech get better and how can more speech therapy help me when you say my speech is getting worse ? I even went to a ENT to get my voice box checked out hoping that maybe something was on it that could get it removed so speech would be better or to show like voice box freezing during talking like to go oh I'm getting voice paralysis to maybe get those people to be able to be quiet about my speech issues if they knew a disorder of the cause of why my speech is getting worse but oh no that wasn't the case as I was normal in that area! I then went to get a Endoscopy maybe hoping that there was something down there that is the cause of my speech issues but nope it was just normal except for a small hiatal hernia I have and a loose espoghael valve I have due to the hiatal hernia but supposedly that not the cause of my speech issues. So I don't know how to get it thru them because they think by pointing it out continously and complaining about it is being helpful but instead it's being hurtful and they don't realize how hurtful it is . It's like they think I don't see the problem or am in denial of a problem so they continous to say you need to get it fixed which it's like I think they don't really believe me how many speech therapist I have seen or how many years I have gone to speech therapy because it's like they can't be able to believe that speech therapy isn't helping me so I think they think I haven't gone to any .
