Bio
Hello there! I am a survivor! May name is James, and I would love to be able to help you survive life's storms as well.
My story of triumph and disaster began prenatally. My mother had German Measles and high tempertures, and in the '70's this meant (according to medicine at the time) that I wasn't going to live and if I did that I would be profoundly disabled. So she was asked to abort me. ...Guess what! She didn't! Beyond that, I was born on-time and perfectly "normal." (All reflexes were positive and I didn't have 3 heads.)
Growing-up I was a disaster! By the time that I was 15 I'd been in body braces, had over 300 surgeries, and was a star athlete and student! (All those CAN go together.)
15 was a turning-point in my life though.
After 15 I was no longer able to play sports and academia were no longer an easy thing. I lost certain parts of my body while in the hospital (not their fault, the car accident didn't let me fair well!), as well as my life outside of the hospital.
When I was 18 I did something that physicians had told me publicly could not be done with part of your brain missing (but encouraged me privately saying that medical science has no explanations that I couldn't disprove, with God's help!): I graduated high school, on time! (With a 3.89 GPA!) Which was hard to achieve because I was only allowed to take a half load for 2 of those years.
Then I did something else that, in turn, caused my neurologists to discharge from their care for good and say that I could "do anything that you set (my) mind to;" I graduated college with Psychology and Counseling, then went back for more!
I believe in miracles. After all, I am one. YOU are another, and I would like to help you believe in the miracle of God's love in your that can endure and overcome anything as well!
Lots of other nations that I've been to in order to help; things that I have have the opportunities to see and witness firsthand; and ways that I might be able to not only understand, but empathize with your situation... if you'd like for me to, and would let me. Will you? (It's an open invitation...)
