...See more So I'm going through something, basically a lot of things happened a few months back, i don't even know what to call it, but when I reported it, they called it stalking but there's other things as well. I'm going through the process of my school looking into it and the police, but it's really traumatic. They ask me to recount what happened and I do my best and pretend it's easy but the second I leave, I just have a panic attack. The smallest noise will trigger panic. I saw him the other day and nearly threw up. Everyone around me is telling me to just move on and not think about it. I can't understand why I feel this way, why anything that reminds me of the event will make me have a breakdown, noises, objects, memories etc. I have nightmares and intrusive thoughts about it, I'll be doing schoolwork and just suddenly it'll come on, so quickly that I can't stop it. I get frozen, and just collapse for a few minutes. I feel so angry, having to see him on social media living his best life makes it worse but I have to keep doing it because they might want the videos for the investigation. Everything I say being analyzed to find any way that I might be lying, and then being unable to do anything for the rest of the day because it's so difficult to process. Does anyone have any tips or advice? Like how can I manage these feelings? It feels like either anxiety or mild PTSD, but I dont want to self-diagnose. Has anyone else had to go through this process and how did you handle it?
