...See more Hi. I am going to do my best to convey my thoughts so they are not word jumble. I have tried many different things. 12 step programs for food (like all of them). Meds. Therapy. Intensive outpatient treatment. Diets. I have found short term success with 12 step bc it allows me to get "perfection" by doing a lot of stuff (the activities I am asked to do for the programs). BUT these are not sustainable for me as I flame out and binge. I just wish it was a straight line to recovery without failures. And I wish I could have instant perfection. Thanks.
