Commit or quit?

...See more I’m a former teacher who transitioned into a very meticulous mechanical trade. I landed a job in the field recently. I’ve applied to tons of schools in the trade, but only managed to get into one with open acceptance. I failed many aptitude tests, and I am not doing good at my job where I constantly fall behind and my ability to understand feels doubted. I really do want to pursue the craft - my goal is to have my own shop someday and perform this trade. But I also got an offer to go back into teaching. I’m wondering whether I should commit to this craft or quit?
