Commit or quit?
I’m a former teacher who transitioned into a very meticulous mechanical trade. I landed a job in the field recently. I’ve applied to tons of schools in the trade, but only managed to get into one with open acceptance. I failed many aptitude tests, and I am not doing good at my job where I constantly fall behind and my ability to understand feels doubted.
I really do want to pursue the craft - my goal is to have my own shop someday and perform this trade. But I also got an offer to go back into teaching. I’m wondering whether I should commit to this craft or quit?

Um...... i don't think anybody should tell you what to do in life.
The problem seems to be that you are having self doubt.
Time and experience are you best allies. Trust yourself... You got this!!
