...See more What if... " If you were abused, youre probably going to abuse others." I've seen this time and time again on the internet and have heard it plenty of times in really life as well. It's one of the thoughts that really messes with me. And it's one that I can't shake. I know myself that I would never ever abuse anyone and I am always conscious to make sure I do everything I can do for the people in my life. But to this day that quote still haunts me. It's the what ifs? What if I went off the deep end and became someone I wouldn't be able to recognize. What if I were capable of doing something like that. I know myself I know I can never become like my dad. I guess my question is if anyone else feels like this? It scares me so bad...

...See more Don't know if this don't help me or help anyone else but I'll give it a try because for some reason I just can't let go of the past and have never been able to talk about it before. So here it goes... This is a story about a girl and her father. She was 7 years old when her mother and father decided they didn't love each other anymore and couldn't stand being together any longer. Instead of putting up with the unhappiness the mother decided it was best for them to get a divorce. Thinking that would be the best for herself and her children. Both parents tried to be as civil to each other as to relieve as much stress as possible for their children. Mother seemed to be doing just fine with the separation. She had a couple different boyfriends but never dated anyone her children didn't approve of. Father on the other hand found he was losing himself to depression. He decided to drown his sorrows away. He hardly seemed like the father the girl use to know so well. The girl still enjoyed spending time with both of her parents. With her mom she would do her homework and have proper meals. With her father she would play and eat junk food. The rest in the comments...
