Feelings of dread?

...See more Hey everyone, I'm J. I'm having a really difficult time right now with anxiety and depression. I feel like so many of my days consistent of trying stay afloat, trying to survive. Overall, I was doing ok this year, but the holiday season has hit me very hard. It's been about 2 weeks of intense crippling anxiety and all I want is relief from feelings of fear and dread. And when I get anxious, I also get depressed, which comes with feelings of emptiness, hopelessness and loneliness. I've got a great therapist and a small support network, but the usual coping skills are just not working. So, I'm trying new things, like this website. I'm hoping connecting with others will help. I'm seeking more support overall and developing routines that will hopefully help in the long term. Despite all the stuff I'm trying, I'm dealing with so much dread, especially at random times of day and even more at sundown. I try to remind myself in the immediate moment that nothing is wrong, and that I have no proof that anything will be wrong in the future. But, this feeling is so overwhelming and awful. I'm wondering if anyone has tips in dealing with it and eventually having the feeling dissipate completely?
