...See more Is it unreasonable to ask your partner to stop watching porn if it makes you uncomfortable? My partner and I have had discussions about him watching porn a lot and we sat down one day and I asked if it was something he could stop doing. His response was that, because he is more or less addicted, that it would be very hard for him. We had a long tough discussion and after a while I avsked that he at least tries to watch it less with the goal that one day he wont watch at all. And then we left it at that. And today I asked him how it had been going expecting some progress (we talked about it 3 weeks ago) but barely any progress from his side. I asked if he could set goals to get somewhere. I.e in a month you watch it 4 times a week instead of every day. But he doesn't want that because he doesn't think he'll be able to give it up. Is it unreasonable for me to want him to stop watching, should I feel uncomfortable?
