...See more My bf and I started dating in may 2019-September 2019. While we were together, I practically had a whole other virtual relationship with someone from a different state, who I only met once in person. I cheated by having this other relationship. Afterwards my bf and I ended up breaking up for other reasons. I never told him about the cheating. We lost touch. In December 2019 we decided to get back together and I still didn’t tell him about my infidelity because I knew it was something I wouldn’t ever do again. I regretted it so much and I didn’t want to put it upon him if I knew I wouldn’t do it again. We have been together for a year now and in January of 2021. He found out about the infidelity and has been giving me silent treatment since. He hasn’t broken up with me, blocked me on social media, but he just isn’t speaking to me. He always had a feeling I had cheated and gave me multiple chances to come clean but I didn’t. I thought I was protecting our relationship. I’m not sure what to do. I’ve asked him straight up what he wants but no reply. I text him every couple days so he knows I’m still trying. But I’m not sure what else to do. It’s been 7 weeks now. I’m such a horrible person for this. Ugh.

...See more So my bf and I started dating may 2019 - sept 2019, during that time frame I did something terrible. I cheated. I practically had a whole other relationship while being with him. We ended up breaking up but I never told him about my infidelity. We got back in contact December 2019 - now. When we got back together, I still didn’t tell him because I knew I would never do that again and if we are about to start new and fresh and 2020 starting, I did not want to bring up something I knew I wouldn’t do again. Which was clearly the wrong decision. He confronted me on Jan 22 about if I had cheated or not the last time we got together. He said he always had a feeling but took my word on it. I kept trying to deny and hide it but I eventually fessed up as we were talking. Now he is giving me the silent treatment. He hasn’t said if we are broken up or not. In that time he texted me saying “how he is supposed to trust me ever again”. But went back to silent treatment. When I talk about it, it feels so foreign. Like I didn’t even do that. I feel absolutely terrible for hurting such a good person. I feel terrible for putting myself down by doing such a low thing. Idk what to do. I just want to help him
