...See more my partner of almost 4 years constantly makes me feel guilty for having other friends. they devalidate my issues. they're always jealous of my friends and it seriously affects my mental health. there's a lot more but anyways, i decided to prioritize my mental health today and attempt to break up with them. they coaxed me into us just going on a "break" and it made them really upset. i don't want to be in a relationship for the time being but i'm scared for them if i choose to break up with them because they also deal with mental illness and recently got out of the mental hospital (as did i). what should i do?
