...See more I’m struggling with a breakup from someone I loved very deeply. There were genuinely beautiful parts of the relationship, but his anger, withdrawal, and treatment of me during conflict ultimately made me realize I couldn't build a healthy future with him. I know leaving was the right decision, but my feelings haven't caught up with that knowledge. I'm still very attached and grieving both him and the future I thought we would have. I'm trying to move forward without either idealizing the relationship or pretending the good parts weren't real.
