...See more This is my addition to pet corner. My family lives on a homestead so we have a lot of pets/animals but the pet that is truly mine is my adopted cat, Grimm. I adopted him in July of this year and he is the snuggliest cat I have ever had the pleasure of owning. He is 8 years old and has no teeth. He of course has been lovingly nicknamed toothless due to this fact and his appearance. I’ve been reorganizing my room and got a new bookshelf. In the photo above, he claimed it as his own. I finished organizing my books and I made sure to keep a spot big enough for him. He sits in it every night before bed just looking around observing his kingdom. 😆

...See more I basically just got passed up for a promotion. At my work I had a coworker who is the department manager over 2 different departments, she put in her 2 week notice earlier this week. I have been interested in taking over one of the departments after she leaves. I already help out in that area and have gone to meetings for it. When I mentioned it today I was basically told that they were seeing what the person they hired for the other department wanted to do and that would determine if there is an opening in the department I’m interested in or if that department will just move to a current department manager. Essentially they want to pay one person for two jobs instead of two people. It is a smaller company but I’m still frustrated and hurt as I’ve been at this company for a while now. I was really hoping I would get the position because it would give me more opportunities to grow and learn. I hope that because we are entering the busy season that it will cause them to rethink it.

My Void of Venting

...See more I’ve always wanted to start a journal. I was always worried that it had to be perfect. What if future generations read it? What would they think? Thats why I created this thread. Because now I can vent into the void so to speak and I don’t have to worry about it being perfect or it even having to make sense. The void doesn’t judge. I’m not currently wanting anyone to leave comments. Feel free to read my venting if you want but please don’t leaves comments. Thanks! 🤍
