...See more I. Am. Exhausted. I have struggled with severe depression for many years now. When I first recognized my starting to change I spoke with my parents often about it. They believed that I was sad but didn't take me depression plea seriously. They never have. They think I'm just overly dramatic. I can't bring it up anymore without feeling like they're just rolling their eyes. I know I am severely depressed and need help but I don't know what to do. I can't tell anyone and truly open up to the pain I'm feeling because I know it will change what they think of me. So I go on dealing with it alone. Day to day dragging myself out of bed, putting on a happy face when I know someone can see be, digging my nails into my palms to fight back the lump in my throat the threatens without warning.. on and on. Everyday it's a struggle, everyday is a fight. I can't let down my gaurd for fear of someone seeing the darkness inside of me and being afraid. The ache, the struggle, the never ending thoughts reeling in my mind. Sighs.. I'm just exhausted.
