...See more My ex and I recently broke up about 7 months ago. He got a new girlfriend 3 months after we broke up and that was after the rebound girl he had before he starting dating his now girlfriend. About 3 weeks ago he reached out to me and told me of course everything I wanted to hear: that he missed me, that he will always have feelings for me, that he will always love me and I will hold a special place in his heart, and then he said that he could see me ending up with him in the end. Yet he tells me that he is happy in his relationship and that his girlfriend deserves a chance and that he shouldnt be talking to me... I told him to stop playing with my emotions but for some reason I still miss him. I havent talked to him since but I still look at his stuff on social media. I shouldnt want him back because of how he treated me after the break up but he was my first love and I just dont really know how to finally cut that last string and let go... I am happy now but a little part of me still misses him and us and hopes maybe one day things could go back even though I know it wouldnt be the best thing. I need advice. Help.
