While I know that I can't possibly know exactly what you're going through right now, as somebody who has struggled with self harm, suicidal thoughts, sexual abuse, an eating disorder, and anxiety, I am definitely familiar with the pain that can come from emotional turmoil. If possible, I would like to support you while you try and navigate that pain, and for what it's worth, for you to know that you're not alone. If you're struggling with a particular issue or just need somebody to lend an ear, I'm here!

...See more Hi everyone!  Lately, I've been struggling with revealing my love of BDSM to my partner, and I wanted to start this thread in the hopes of receiving some advice and to see if anyone else has experienced a similar issue. As a survivor of sexual abuse, I find the role of a submissive to be incredibly empowering and healing, and I would love to bring more of this into my sex life with my boyfriend, but the problem is, I think he's scared of the BDSM culture. He recently revealed to me that as a small child, his mother forced him to watch intense male sub cbt porn on his father's computer because she wanted him to hate his dad. It now seems to me that he is terrified of BDSM, and I want to respect his boundaries and limits, but I also feel like this is a very big part of my identity that I would like him to know. I love him very much, and our communication on pretty much everything is great, but I'm scared to bring this up. I don't want him to think of me as a freak, and I'm just worried that I'll scare him away. Does anyone have any advice for me on this? Please let me know.
