...See more So I've been diagnosed with BPD during a hospital stay. I was 16 at the time and after returning home, got rid of all medications due to the fact that I was sure nothing was wrong with me. I'm now 18 living on my own and am finding that maybe medication would help regulate and balance some things in my life. I've been doing research and heard about mood stabilizers (have tried one when misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder) and even antipsychotics? Does that sound correct? Does anyone just take antidepressants for BPD? And while I'm here I thought I'd ask if anyone has "episodes"? I call them episodes because they last anywhere from a minute to maybe almost half an hour. I have feelings ranging from pure anger and hate to hysterical sobbing and anxiousness to even extreme worthlessness. Feel like it just depends on the day and what's going on but it's a different combination of all those. I feel a little crazy trying to explain the "episodes" thing haha so maybe even just telling me what it's like living with BPD for you would help give me a better and more relatable understanding Thanks for your time guys, just looking for some answers.
